The Otago Under 13 Boy’s A and B Teams have been selected.
Coaches Farrell and Phil would like to thank all the boys and parents who attended the Gore Tournament, also a massive thanks to Jan and Scott for managing the teams.
We have had a very tough time deciding on the make-up of the 2 teams going forward. Those boys who have been selected to the Blue team you will still have the opportunity to be considered for the Gold team, likewise boys in the Gold team can be replaced if we feel that someone is playing better. The coaches will be monitoring everyone over the next few weeks at trainings and any games that are arranged between now and Invercargill. Both teams will travel to Invercargill (14 & 15th September) and Ashburton (leaving 8th October returning 12th October).

The Blue team will need a manager without one they will not be able to attend tournaments, please talk to Natalie (at development@otago.basketball) if you would like some further information about the role. Jan has completed most of the organisation for both tournaments. Managing consists primarily of looking after the boys at tournament, making sure they are fed, watered and have their boots, mouth guards and uniform on; and assisting Jan and the coaches where required. It’s actually good fun!
