Basketball Otago are looking for two new employees to start off the new year with a bang! 

The popularity of basketball in Otago is flying high and we want to continue to give our developing players and teams the best possible support on their basketball journey.  We also want to continue to give all of our participants the best possible playing experience, whatever their age or level. Pathway Development Manager 

This position is based at the Basketball Otago headquarters at the Edgar Centre in Dunedin and is focused on developing and enhancing an effective basketball development pathway for all ages, from starters to international level.  This includes development opportunities for both players and coaches.  

The position will be best suited to a basketball performance coach with significant experience at national competition level with the ability to develop basketball athletes at provincial and national level.  It also requires someone with a strong understanding of the coaching and management requirements for preparing Otago representative teams and taking them to national tournaments.

Community Competitions Administrator 

This position is based at the Basketball Otago headquarters at the Edgar Centre in Dunedin and is focused on administration support for the delivery of Basketball Otago’s schools competitions and administrative support for our community basketball programmes.  This position will be best suited to someone with excellent organisational and administration skills, is good with people, and ideally has a passion for community sport.
